At Summit Health and Wellness Center, we now use Google Meet for our telemedicine services. This HIPAA-secure platform ensures your conversations are private and confidential.

How Does Telemedicine Work?
At Summit Health and Wellness Center, we use Google Meet for video conferencing with our patients. Under Oklahoma law, the initial appointment must be in person to allow for a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. After the initial visit, patients are required to have at least one in-person appointment per year. The rest of the appointments can be conducted via Google Meet if you choose to use telemedicine.
To use telemedicine, you simply need to join a Google Meet call. It’s compatible with many systems, including tablets, laptops, and smartphones.
